LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES

The Threeboot Legion (Earth-Prime) Membership

These Legionnaires first appeared all together, unnamed, in a group in Teen Titans/Legion Special. Their series, Legion of Super-Heroes vol. 5, began its story some time after the group's formation, so the membership order was never fully revealed.

As an organization, the Legion in the Threeboot reality was one that actually encompassed thousands of teenagers across the galaxy. They all voted in leadership elections. The core group of Legionnaires had the distinction of wearing flight rings, which were rare and difficult to manufacture. Only about 20 were allowed.

Legion Leaders

In the Threeboot Legion, leadership elections were open to scores of underage Legionnaires "at large," across the galaxy, not just to the core super-powered operatives.

There was no official "deputy leader" position in this incarnation of the Legion.

Election No. Member Issue Notes
1 Cosmic Boy Legion vol. 5 #1 (Feb. 2005) During this period, Cos vied for loyalty with Brainiac 5
2 Supergirl Supergirl & the Legion #31 (Aug. 2007) Supergirl was elected only because of write-in votes; Lightning Lad was the highest-winning legitimate candidate

3

Lightning Lad Supergirl & the Legion #36 (Jan. 2008) Leadership reverted to him when Supergirl left; Brainy continued to go rogue, and Lightning Lad relied on Phantom Girl and Light Lass for advice
