Catspaw
NAME + ALIASES: April Dumaka of Earth
FIRST APPEARANCE: Legion of Super-Heroes v.3
#33
Legion 1.5: Post-Crisis
In post-Crisis continuity (no longer valid), Catspaw was introduced as a new teen member of the SW6 Legion.
Little is known about April Dumaka's past. During the Dominator occupation of Earth, she was kidnaped and experimented on in their underground chambers, where her metagene was activated, turning her into a cat-like girl, with claws, heightened senses, superhuman agility, and making her quite sexually agressive toward men.
She had the good fortune of being in a chamber near Dainelle Foccart, who could "talk" to computers and who sensed the impending destruction set off by Grinn. Foccart freed her, Xao Jin and Bobb Kohan, and the four of them escaped death in the chambers. In seeking shelter, they encountered the SW6 Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl, who took them to their command post, where April got used to her new self and rid the place of mice. When Reep Daggle decided to help establish the Legionnaire team on New Earth, he included April and gave her her super-hero code name of Catspaw. She's currently chasing after any of the male Legionnaires into whom she can sink her claws.
Legion 2: Earth-247
The Catspaw of universe-247 never made any actual appearances. She seen once only, as a candidate being reviewed by Leland McCauley as a prospective membr of the Workforce. (Legionnaires #69) This universe was destroyed in the Infinite Crisis, and Cataspaw along with it.

Computo
NAME + ALIASES: Danielle Foccart of EarthFIRST APPEARANCE: Legion of Super-Heroes v.1 Annual #1 (1982)
Earth-0
Danielle Foccart was about eight years old when she contracted some sort of nervous disorder. Most thought it incurable, but fortunately, her case came to the attention of Brainiac 5, who was looking for a way to cure Matter-Eater Lad of his temporary insanity. He studied her condition, and decided that it was indeed curable, with the help of one of his previous inventions - his renegade supercomputer, Computo. Brainy thought he would be able to control Computo this time, but he was mistaken, and Computo entered her mind. Danielle's brother Jacques became the second Invisible Kid, saving both Danielle and the Legion, and possibly the rest of the world, from certain doom. Brainiac 5 finally got it right on his next try, and the Computo matrix was contained, tamed, and used to cure Danielle.
Legion 1.5: Post-Crisis
In post-Crisis continuity (no longer valid), Danielle went on to become a member of the SW6 Legion.
Her life proceeded normally for many years. Then the Dominators took over the Earth and started kidnaping Earthlings for the purpose of experimentation and, if they could produce metahuman powers in them, for use as soldiers. Danielle was one of these subjects, and the Dominators found out that she did indeed have a power - the power to mentally communicate with and partially control computers. Because of this power, she was aware of what happened in the world outside the Dominator chambers, and, when she found out that a resistance soldier had set the chambers to self-destruct, she got the computer system to free her and anyone around her from there. Thus, she, Bobb Kohan, Xao Jin, and April Dumaka escaped the blast and made their way through Dominator tunnels until they came across two Legionnaires from Batch SW6. The Legionnaires gave them shelter while the war continued, and after the liberation and later destruction of Earth, she and Jacques, now Earth's president, were reunited. When he found out about her powers, he suggested her for membership in the Legion, but Chameleon convinced her to remain instead with the SW6 Legionnaires on New Earth. When the New Earth team held its first meeting, she was chosen vice-chairperson, and has assumed chairperson duties while the young Cosmic Boy is incapacitated. She played a major part in the transfer of the pocket universe's Earth to the true universe, but disappeared shortly afterward due to Zero Hour.
Legion 2: Earth-247
Danielle also appeared in Earth-247 continuity. She was shown only in flashback, as part of her brother, Jacques', tale. (Legionnaires #66) This Danielle ceased to exist along with that universe when it was destroyed in the Infinite Crisis.

Dragonmage
Legion 1: Earth-0
The Dragonmage of the current Earth-0 has never actually appeared. He was only mentioned by the evil sorceror Mordru, as one of the magicians he'd killed and absorbed. (Legion of Three Worlds #2)
Legion 1.5: Post-Crisis
NAME + ALIASES: Xao Jin of Earth
FIRST APPEARANCE: Legion of Super-Heroes v.4 #33
In post-Crisis continuity (no longer valid), Dragonmage was a new teen member of the SW6 Legion.
Xao Jin was born in the China sector of Earth, and his sensitivity to the forces of magic was apparent almost from the time of his birth. When his powers seriously threatened his family's safety during the Magic Wars, he was apprenticed to Chu Hua, a full-fledged magician, under whom he studied until the Dominators took him and his teacher captive.
He escaped the Dominators' underground chambers, thanks to Danielle Foccart, who sensed their impending destruction, and freed him, along with April Dumaka and Bobb Kohan. His spells, which were always accompanied, for some reason, by dragon-shaped holograms, proved very useful while the four were on the run. He is not completely trained in the use of his power, and is easily rattled, an event that can lead to mishaps of large proportions. Nonetheless, he was inducted into the New Earth team of Legionnaires upon its formation, where he works on his concentration skills and is always willing to lend a hand. None of this helped, though, to prevent his disappearance at a pivotal point of a battle against Mordru and Glorith during Zero Hour.
Legion 2: Earth-247
NAME + ALIASES: Xao Jin of Earth
FIRST APPEARANCE: Legionnaires #43
(December 1996)
The Dragonmage of Earth-247 ceased to exist along with that universe, when it was destroyed in the Infinite Crisis. He was never a Legionnaire, but an ally…
Xao
Jin, master of the mystic arts, tried out for Legion membership as Dragonmage
shortly after seven Legionnaires were lost in time by the Emerald Eye of
Ekron. He was rejected by a group of Legionnaires leery of anything magical
after their encounter with the Eye and the sorceress Mysa. He left angrily
vowing to show the Legionnaires the true extent of the power of magic. (Legionnaires
#43) He soon discovered the magical power emanating from a recently-vacated
crypt on the planetoid Yuen, but before he could tap into it, he was interrupted
by Mysa, who was familiar with Mordru, the being that had been buried there
and needed his help and that of the Legion to stop him. (#46) He
tried to warn the Legion about Mordru's coming, but his warning was ignored
due to his hysterical state of mind at the time, and he left with a contempt
for the disbelieving Legionnaires. (#47) He then
returned to Mysa to aid her in her preparations for the inevitable fight
against Mordru (#48), and he was accepted along
with Mysa as part of the team to battle Mordru. (Legionnaires #49) He drained
some of Mordru's power during the battle, but Mordru lashed out at him,
injuring him badly. He is expected to recover, and Mysa has taken him on
as an apprentice, as she has discovered his resemblance to a man she once
knew and loved and has developed a deep caring for him. (#50-52)
Following their return to the Sorcerers' World, Mysa begen to instruct Dragonmage so he could regain control of his power. Dragonmage, however, was impatient and sought other means to this end. He discovered scrolls which described the power of the Elementals locked up on the planet Zyzan, and went there to tap into it, ignoring warnings from the other sorcerers. (#70) True to the other sorcerers' warnings, the Elementals were too powerful for Dragonmage to handle, and they escaped when he released them. Mysa found him unconscious and brought him to Legion headquarters on Earth to heal while she and most Legionnaires went to battle the Elementals. (#71) When Dragonmage woke up, Star Boy told him what the Elementals had done and started to fight with him, but a mystic blast from Dragonmage restored Star Boy's powers to normalcy, and the two made peace. Dragonmage transported them to JS-1967, where the two of them played an instrumental role in stopping the Elementals, but in the process, Dragonmage again got severely injured. (#73) While recovering from injuries he sustained in that battle, Dragonmage was made to realize the damage he had caused through his impatience and recklessness, and, vowing to redeem himself, turned himself over to United Planets authorities for punishment for releasing the Elementals, an action Mysa sadly approved of. (#74)
